Kailyn Lowry and Elijah Scott are getting real about what it takes to raise seven kids.
The podcast host and mom of seven, 31, chatted with her boyfriend on the latest episode of her Barely Famous podcast about how they juggle their schedule to accommodate all the different needs and activities of the kids.

"You have never made me feel like you resent me if I have obligations with my other children," Lowry told Scott, going on to point out that such flexibility isn't always the case in every partnership, noting, "[There are] couples who are not prepared for the work and the exhaustion and the responsibility of having kids."
Lowry said that a "level of resentment" often builds between such couples and she is happy not to have that experience with Scott, who has had patience with her and the process as they establish their new normal.

Kailyn Lowry Emotionally Recalls Bringing Newborn Son Home as His Twin Remained in the NICU: 'I Cried a Lot'
"I hate to say it like this, but I have not been a full-time parent for years," she explained. "Because when Chris and I had Creed, we were broken up. We weren't together for my pregnancy with him and I think even before that was on and off."
Lowry points out that she's always had some "time to myself" in the midst of balancing the schedule for the older four boys. "So being in a relationship again where it's you and I are together, living together and full-time parenting, it falls on both of us. It's been a big adjustment."
Lowry said Scott has also always been okay with the fact that "something that I'm not willing to do is cut back on my older kids' schedules."
"I don't think the older kids' lives should be flipped upside down because of the new babies," she leveled, noting that some people decide differently and that she's privileged to have a support system that makes this possible.
"I can't picture a world where I'm like, 'Lincoln, you can't sign up for travel basketball because I had three babies in less than two years. I can't picture a world where I would do that. But I know I would imagine that has to be annoying or frustrating at times."
TheTeen Momalum said she's also adjusted her professional schedule "to make sure I am still able to do what needs to be done" and shared her appreciation for Scott's willingness to "pick up the slack" when needed.
"Now that you and I are together, there's a whole new dynamic that we kind of plan out you having time to yourself and me having time to myself and us having time together, and then making time for the kids all together and also individually," she shared, adding, "Because that's something really important to me."
Lowry touched on the chaos of balancing her schedule in a previous episode of Barely Famous, where she talked about managing the period where both twins, and later just Valley, were in the NICU with the rest of her children at home.
"For me, it was you couldn't be there with me in the NICU when I went," she told Scott, referring to the factthat they'd take turns, with one visiting the hospital while the other handled the others.
"She was away from her twin; we were away from her. When we were home, we still couldn't process it because there was so much going on here. Lincoln still had his basketball games and practices.Isaacstill had his after-school stuff. Lux still had what he was doing," she continued.
