Since holistic skin health is important to us, we are happy that the trend towards healthy and responsible tanning with self-tanners is finding more and more followers. Another big plus point is of course that self-tanners give us a radiant, sun-kissed complexion all year round - even in the depths of winter.

Even before the launch of our innovative Self Tan Drops, we received a number of questions from the community on the subject. We have addressed the most frequently asked questions to allay any uncertainties you may have.

• Do self-tanners make skin tone look unnatural?

• Do self-tanners protect the skin from UV rays?
• Do self-tanners rub off on light-colored clothing, bedding, etc.?

To answer the question, we want to briefly explain how our Self Tan Drops work : The active ingredient dihydroxyacetone (DHA) reacts with the proteins in the upper layers of the skin and causes a tanning effect. The active ingredient therefore covers the pigment spots like the rest of the skin and can therefore also become a little darker.

But don't worry, they don't look darker, as the rest of your skin will also become browner and your complexion will appear more balanced thanks to the natural and even tanning effect . When the tanning effect of the Self Tan Drops wears off, the overlay of the pigment spots will also disappear. This always depends on the individual skin condition and how pronounced the pigment spots are.

However, there is the following trick if you do not want your pigment spots to be covered up during use: simply apply a rich product such as Vaseline to the area before applying the self-tanner and then wipe the pigmented area with a damp cotton swab to remove the unwanted tan.

Our lightweight formula is designed so that Self Tan Drops won't stain your skin when used correctly.

The smoother the skin, the more even the result will be. We therefore recommend that you use our gentle facial peeling before using the Self Tan Drops to remove dry skin cells and moisturize your skin. Then mix 1-3 drops of the Self Tan Drops into your day or night cream. For a stronger effect, you can also use them pure. Work them well into your skin and avoid your eyebrows and/or beard.
