Morocco is gearing up for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, a major sporting event, by training an impressive 15,000 volunteers. This initiative includes over 1,000 African students living in the country, all dedicated to making the tournament a success. The training, held in Rabat from November 7 to 10, focuses on essential skills like public reception, guidance, and assistance, ensuring a professional and memorable experience for all participants. Chaimae Kiani, an official at the Office for Vocational Training and Job Promotion (OFPPT), emphasizes the importance of this program. She highlights how the culture of volunteering not only contributes to the tournament's success but also showcases Moroccan hospitality and values, making sporting events unforgettable for both visitors and locals alike. The training covers communication, crisis response, and teamwork, with volunteers set to serve in various locations, including airports, hotels, train stations, and stadiums.
