As ETH Zurich researcher Fabian Landers explains, ‘It’s incredible how much blood is pumped through our vessels and at what speed. Our navigation system has to be able to withstand all of this.’ This level of precision could be a game-changer for treating diseases that currently require high doses of drugs, often leading to unwanted side effects.
