Meet Miss Troy University 2026: Anna Grace Tucker's Inspiring Journey & 'Say It Out Loud' Initiative (2025)

A New Queen Takes the Throne at Troy University, and Her Story Will Inspire You!

TROY, Ala. – The spotlight shines brightly on Troy University as they celebrate the crowning of their newest queen! Anna Grace Tucker, a junior studying business from Huntsville, has been named Miss Troy University 2026 during the school’s 53rd annual pageant. But here’s where it gets truly inspiring...

Filled with excitement and a hint of disbelief, Tucker shared, “I’m so thrilled to be Miss Troy that I don’t think I’ll get any sleep tonight. I’m eager to embrace my responsibilities as Miss Troy this year.” Her heartfelt words reflect not just joy but also genuine respect for her competitors. “I have deep admiration for every single girl I competed against. It took real courage to stand on that stage, and I’m fortunate to have gained new friendships through this experience.”

Winning this prestigious title comes with more than just a crown. Tucker is awarded a generous $7,500 scholarship and will proudly serve as an ambassador representing Troy University throughout the year.

What makes Anna Grace’s story even more compelling is her dedication to a cause close to her heart. She champions “Say It Out Loud,” a community outreach program designed to raise awareness about speech disorders, including apraxia—a condition Anna Grace personally battles. “This initiative is meant for anyone facing challenges with speech,” she explains. “Apraxia is a speech-sound disorder that affects the ability to articulate words properly. Both my brother and I live with it, so I wanted to use this platform to educate others and foster understanding.”

Following her win at Troy University, Anna Grace is gearing up to take her talents and mission to the next level by competing for the title of Miss Alabama.

And this is the part most people miss—beyond the glamour, these pageants can become powerful stages for advocacy and personal stories that resonate deeply with many. But what do you think—should beauty pageants emphasize social causes more? Or is it still primarily about tradition and appearance? Join the conversation and share your thoughts!
