The 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe LS comes standard with a 5.3-liter V8, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive featuring an automatic locking differential. For an additional $3,000, buyers can upgrade to 4-wheel-drive (4WD) with a 2-speed transfer case. The Tahoe LS 2WD can tow up to 8,600 pounds with the Max Trailer Package.
The LS includes 18-inch alloy wheels, heated power side mirrors, roof rails, projector-beam headlights, LED taillights, and active aero grille shutters. Also standard are rain-sensing wipers, black assist steps, a rear wiper/washer, remote keyless entry with remote start, and dark tinted rear privacy glass. The LS features a trailer-hitch platform with a 7-wire harness and a 2-inch trailer hitch receiver.

An optional 40/20/40 front bench seat expands seating capacity to nine passengers. A Custom Edition package also deletes the LS’ 3rd-row seat.
Standard amenities include power windows with front one-touch up/down, power door locks, tri-zone automatic climate controls, and a leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel with buttons for cruise control, audio, and Bluetooth phone connectivity. The LT has 11 charging locations, including five 12-volt outlets, five USB ports, and a 110-volt power outlet. Also on board is a 4.2-inch color driver information display.
The Tahoe LS has an 8-inch color touch-screen infotainment system with a 6-speaker AM/FM/CD stereo. The infotainment portion includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio. OnStar comes standard, as does a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
Safety equipment includes complete protection with front, front-side impact, and three-row side-curtain airbags.
